Kerrie joined Smarter Communities in February 2016 to partner and support senior business executives whilst delivering appropriate and innovative human resources solutions to the Smarter Communities group of companies. In July 2019, Kerrie was promoted to her current role as General Manager Business Operations & People, assuming leadership of the business operations teams across Smarter Communities.

With over 25 years’ experience as a senior HR professional within Not for Profit and Global and Australian financial services industries, Kerrie has extensive knowledge and a proven track record of implementing effective HR strategies, operational management, strategic workforce planning, talent and succession management, merger and acquisitions, offshoring and cultural change programs.

She has successfully demonstrated how human resources can add value in a commercial environment. Kerrie is results driven and has earned her solid reputation for successfully obtaining full stakeholder support and building strong relationships in all roles across her career.

Kerrie has a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and an Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management from TAFE. Kerrie is a Certified Professional of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
